The Mancelona Ironmen felled the host East Jordan Red Devils football squad by a count of 36-16 in Friday's league test.
The Ironmen now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlevoix for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Mancelona will meet a Rayders squad coming off a 41-8 league win over Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Rayders record now stands at 6-0.
With the defeat, East Jordan drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI) to face the Rams in a Northern Michigan - Legacy challenge on Friday, October 10. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Harbor Springs won 44-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI)
