Pennsylvania High School Football - East holds off Oxford

The East Vikings (West Chester, PA) football tipped the host Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA), 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Henderson for a Ches-Mont - American outing on Friday, October 10. East will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 33-0 non-league loss to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Oxford drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Avon Grove (West Grove, PA) to clash with the Red Devils in a Ches-Mont - American contest on Friday, October 10. The Red Devils enter the contest with a record of 2-5. Avon Grove won 29-28 in their recent league contest against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA)
