Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood (Lyle, WA), 66-48 in a non-league test.

The Huskies now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Imbler for a 1A Special District 3 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 10. Elgin will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 35-30 league loss to Dufur (Dufur, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

The (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR). The Rockets go into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Pilot Rock lost by Cove (Cove, OR), 44-0, in a league challenge.
