California High School Football - Escalon defeated by Hughson

October 3, 2025: Escalon, CA 95320

The Hughson Huskies were victorious over the host Escalon Cougars football team by a score of 29-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) in a Trans Valley League challenge, on Friday, October 10. Hughson will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 22-21 league win over Hilmar (Hilmar, CA).

With the defeat, Escalon drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to clash with the Knights in a Trans Valley League test on Friday, October 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-1.
