The Escanaba Eskymos felled the visiting Marquette Sentinels football team by a score of 38-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eskymos play the Gaylord Blue Devils (Gaylord, MI) in a Big North challenge, on Friday, October 10. Escanaba will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 41-0 league win over Alpena (Alpena, MI).

With the defeat, Marquette drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to meet the Northmen in a Big North test on Friday, October 10.
