California High School Football - Valley Center prevails Escondido

October 3, 2025: Valley Center, CA 92082

In Friday's league match, the host Valley Center Jaguars football squad scored a good 28-6 win over the Escondido Cougars.

With the win, Valley Center advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA) to play the Sundevils in a Palomar battle on Friday, October 10. The Sundevils go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Mt. Carmel lost 28-18 in their recent league battle against Ramona (Ramona, CA)

The Cougars now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westview for a non-league match on Friday, October 10. Escondido will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 55-21 non-league loss to San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-4.
