The Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) football tipped the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 25-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prospect for a Santa Teresa - Valley outing on Thursday, October 16. Evergreen Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 20-13 league win over Independence (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
