The Macomb Bombers football team (Macomb, IL), dropped 30-16 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL)

With the win, Farmington advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Farmers travel to ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-5. ROWVA/Williamsfield lost 42-8 in their recent non-league bout against Princeville (Princeville, IL)

The Bombers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville for a Lincoln Trail-Prairieland - Large contest on Friday, October 10. Macomb will confront a Blue Bullets squad coming off a 32-22 league win over Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 4-2.
