The North Central Thunder football squad (Eureka, SD), was trounced 34-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD)

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots go into the Lake Region (9 Man) bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Hitchcock-Tulare was crushed by Ipswich (Ipswich, SD), 53-14, in a league bout.

The Thunder now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warner for a Lake Region (9 Man) bout on Friday, October 10. North Central will encounter a Monarchs team coming off a 55-14 non-league win over Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-0.
