Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] Miners (Bessemer, MI) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI), 32-0 in a league match.

The Miners (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI). The Lakes go into the Great Lakes - West (8 Man) battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Linden-Hubbell walloped North Central (Powers, MI), 52-34, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans meet the Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI) in a Great Lakes - West (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 17. Forest Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
