The Plainfield Cardinals were victorious over the visiting Franklin Warriors football squad by a margin of 34-8 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Colonia for a Big Central - Liberty Gold outing on Friday, October 10. Plainfield will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Edison (Edison, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers enter the Big Central - National Silver game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Sayreville ran past Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ), 42-24, in a non-league game.
