In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fredericksburg Christian Eagles football squad scored a decisive 61-22 victory over the The Covenant School Eagles.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Fork Union Military Academy was routed by St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA), 43-8, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. The Covenant School will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
