Gateway Tech Jaguars (St. Louis, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO), 33-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Gateway Tech improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Confluence Prep Academy/Grand Center Arts Academy (St. Louis, MO) to meet the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-5. Confluence Prep Academy/Grand Center Arts Academy lost 26-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Normandy (St. Louis, MO)

The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's South Side (St. Louis, MO). The Dragons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's South Side toppled Rolla (Rolla, MO), 42-21, in a non-league challenge.
