In Friday's non-league match, the host Johnson Crusaders football squad scored a close 21-20 triumph over the Governor Livingston Highlanders.
The Crusaders (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Terriers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Delaware Valley nipped South River (South River, NJ), 43-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Voorhees tipped North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ), 41-13, in a non-league test.
