The Green County Dragons football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Metcalfe County Hornets to 14 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton County for a 2A District 3 test on Friday, October 17. Green County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-6 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Elizabethtown ran past Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 41-36, in a league challenge.
