The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Greenfield Bruins to 19 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Mission North game, on Friday, October 10. Monte Vista Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Condors enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 28-2 league loss to Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA).

The Bruins (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA). The Pirates enter the Pacific Coast - Mission South game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Stevenson ran past Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA), 17-7, in a non-league game.
