In Friday's league match, the visiting Iron Mountain Mountaineers football squad scored a close 1-0 victory over the Gwinn Modeltowners.
The Mountaineers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Broncos enter the Western Peninsula - Iron match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Bark River-Harris got by L'Anse (L'Anse, MI), 44-16, in a league battle.
