The North Cross Raiders football squad scored 63 points and limited the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers to 7 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to The Covenant School for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. North Cross will face a Eagles team coming off a 61-22 non-league loss to Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Catholic was overwhelmed by Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA), 42-6, in a non-league test.
