The University Charter Trail Blazers overwhelmed the host Hatch Bobcats football squad by a count of 40-0 in Friday's league test.
The Trail Blazers now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Choctaw County for a 1A Region 3 test on Friday, October 10. University Charter will meet a Tigers team coming off a 44-0 non-league loss to Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, AL). The Rams go into the 1A Region 3 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Marion was ripped by Linden (Linden, AL), 36-0, in a league challenge.
