The Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing] Cardinals felled the visiting Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars football team by a score of 48-26 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals play the Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND) in a A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing] will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Cowboys go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 36-15 non-league loss to Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson (Malta, MT).
