The Heber Springs Panthers football squad scored 17 points and limited the host Mills University Studies Comets to 14 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bald Knob for a 4A Region 2 test on Friday, October 10. Heber Springs will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-12 league loss to Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Mills University Studies drops to 4-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to face the Mustangs in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Forrest City won 50-6 in their recent league challenge against Hall (Little Rock, AR)
