The Philip Scotties football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Hill City Rangers to 43 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Friday.
The Scotties now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyman for a Western Great Plains (9 Man) test on Friday, October 10. Philip will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 64-20 league win over New Underwood (New Underwood, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Hill City drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Kadoka (Kadoka, SD) to meet the Kougars in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Kougars come into the test with a record of 3-3. Kadoka won 36-32 in their recent league test against Bennett County (Martin, SD)
