Minnesota High School Football - Holdingford wallops Melrose

The Holdingford Huskers football squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting Melrose Dutchmen to 26 in the Huskers league triumph on Friday.

The Huskers now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Holdingford will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 36-26 league win over Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Melrose drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Dutchmen host Little Falls (Little Falls, MN) to meet the Flyers in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Flyers go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Little Falls lost 55-0 in their recent league challenge against Albany (Albany, MN)
