In Friday's league match, the host John Carroll Patriots football squad scored a good 28-7 triumph over the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars.

The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Pallotti was dropped by St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD), 27-26, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers go into the challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Boys Latin toppled Severn School (Severna Park, MD), 31-21, in a league challenge.
