The Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH) football trounced the host Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), 47-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Purple Panthers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Guertin for a Division I - West outing on Friday, October 10. Nashua South will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 51-27 league win over Nashua North (Nashua, NH). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
The Blackbirds (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Merrimack (Merrimack, NH). The Tomahawks enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Merrimack overwhelmed Goffstown (Goffstown, NH), 42-14, in a league game.
