The Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI) football trounced the host White Cloud Indians (White Cloud, MI), 54-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Montcalm for a Central State - Silver game on Friday, October 10. Kent City will battle a Hornets team coming off a 22-8 league win over Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 5-1.
The Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Wildcats enter the Central State - Silver game with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Lakeview was overwhelmed by Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI), 44-7, in a non-league outing.
