With the win, Marple Newtown improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Fightin' Tigers host Penncrest (Media, PA) to meet the Lions in a Central match on Friday, October 10. The Lions come into the match with a record of 5-2. Penncrest won 34-7 in their recent league match against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA)

Coming up next, the Aces meet the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) in a Central challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Lower Merion will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 35-0 league loss to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA).
