The Waukee Warriors walloped the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats football team by a score of 55-13 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dowling Catholic for a 5A Group 2 test on Friday, October 10. Waukee will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 34-0 league win over Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Marshalltown drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a 5A Group 2 test on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Dallas Center-Grimes lost 20-14 in their recent league challenge against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA)
