The Winslow Black Raiders walloped the host Mattanawcook Lynx football team by a score of 38-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Black Raiders face the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) in a D North challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Winslow will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 37-27 league win over Belfast (Belfast, ME).
The Lynx (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Madison triumphed over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME), 14-6, in a non-league test.
