Kansas High School Football - Sterling smashes Medicine Lodge

The Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) football trounced the visiting Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS), 47-10 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Black Bears now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conway Springs for a Central Plains contest on Friday, October 10. Sterling will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 40-6 league loss to Trinity (Hutchinson, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] Outlaws (Caldwell, KS) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, October 10. Medicine Lodge will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Outlaws enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 41-13 non-league loss to Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS).
