The Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) football trounced the host Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL), 58-6 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL) in a 1A Region 7 game, on Friday, October 10. Meek will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 41-6 non-league loss to Good Hope (Cullman, AL).

The Flame (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Indians enter the 1A Region 7 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Cherokee was trounced by Phillips (Bear Creek, AL), 36-12, in a league game.
