Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA), 62-27 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Metairie Park Country Day improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cajuns travel to Cohen (New Orleans, LA) to play the Green Hornets in a 2A District 10 battle on Saturday, October 11. The Green Hornets go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Cohen lost 52-44 in their recent non-league battle against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA)
The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fisher for a 3A District 9 match on Thursday, October 9. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will play a Gators team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-5.
