Minnesota High School Football - Minnetonka prevails Wayzata

In Friday's league match, the visiting Minnetonka Skippers football squad scored a good 28-0 triumph over the Wayzata Trojans.

The Skippers (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets go into the Metro - West battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Edina prevailed over Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN), 42-35, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Maple Grove for a Metro - West battle on Friday, October 10. Wayzata will play a Crimson team coming off a 35-24 league win over St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Crimson record now stands at 6-0.
