West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), 45-14 in a league battle.
With the win, West Jessamine advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Colts host East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to play the Jaguars in a 5A District 7 battle on Friday, October 17. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 2-5. East Jessamine lost 35-21 in their recent league battle against Madison Southern (Berea, KY)
The Indians now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Southern for a 5A District 7 battle on Friday, October 10. Montgomery County will play a Eagles team coming off a 35-21 league win over East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
