In Friday's league match, the visiting Varsity Opponent football team scored a big 38-6 win over the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors.
With the win, Varsity Opponent improves its record to 13-75 on the season. The travel to Loudoun Sports Academy (Leesburg, VA) to play the Timberwolves in a Freelance battle on Friday, October 3. The Timberwolves go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Loudoun Sports Academy won 42-0 in their recent league battle against Hewlett Sports Academy (Waldorf, MD)
The Warriors now hold a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Friendship Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will meet a Knights squad coming off a 28-26 non-league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
