The Trion Bulldogs football squad (Trion, GA), was beaten 41-17 in Friday's league match with the host Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA)

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Red Devils enter the A D2 Region 7 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Bowdon thwarted Manchester (Manchester, GA), 49-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Trion will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 48-0 league win over Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL).
