North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 49-0 in a league test.

The Lynx now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Midland for a A District 4 test on Friday, October 10. North Linn will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 31-6 league loss to Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, North Cedar drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA) to meet the Wildcats in a A District 4 test on Friday, October 10. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Maquoketa Valley won 31-6 in their recent league challenge against Midland (Wyoming, IA)
