The Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) football were winner over the visiting Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE), 49-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malcolm for a C2 District 1 game on Friday, October 10. Raymond Central will battle a Clippers team coming off a 21-7 league win over Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE). The Clippers record now stands at 4-2.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Warriors enter the C2 District 1 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Lincoln Lutheran notched a victory over Conestoga (Murray, NE), 35-11, in a league game.
