Westlake Wildcats (Thornwood, NY) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the host Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY), 35-14 in a league test.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River for a Section 1 B/C/D test on Saturday, October 11. Westlake will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 41-14 league loss to Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Pelham Memorial drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Byram Hills (Armonk, NY) to play the Bobcats in a Section 1 B/C/D challenge on Friday, October 10. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Byram Hills lost 49-21 in their recent league challenge against John Jay (Cross River, NY)
