Illinois High School Football - Reed-Custer nudges Peotone

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) and the visiting Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL), witnessed Reed-Custer's football squad edge Peotone by a tally of 31-28.

With the win, Reed-Custer advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Herscher (Herscher, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a Illinois Central Eight bout on Friday, October 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Herscher won 28-14 in their recent league bout against Streator (Streator, IL)

The Blue Devils now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coal City for a Illinois Central Eight contest on Friday, October 10. Peotone will confront a Coalers squad coming off a 55-0 league win over Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 5-1.
