Illinois High School Football - Yorkville over Plainfield South

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) and the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), witnessed Yorkville's football squad knock off Plainfield South by a tally of 35-19.

The Foxes (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves enter the Southwest Prairie - West contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Oswego East gained a win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 51-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a Southwest Prairie - East contest, on Friday, October 10. Plainfield South will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 74-7 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL).
