Connecticut High School Football - Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] trounced by Platt RVT

The Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] Crusaders football team (Norwich, CT), was trounced 44-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT)

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT). The Tigers enter the Connecticut Tech contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Bullard-Havens was trounced by Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT (Meriden, CT), 21-0, in a league contest.

Next up, the Crusaders encounter the ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] (Danbury, CT) in a Connecticut Tech bout, on Friday, October 10. Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 70-0 league loss to Prince RVT (Hartford, CT).
