California High School Football - Point Loma tops San Diego

The Point Loma Pointers football team scored 31 points and held the host San Diego Cavers to 13 in the Pointers league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Pointers face the Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Dons enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 35-14 non-league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA).

The Cavers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA). The Saints come into the Eastern test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, St. Augustine topped Madison (San Diego, CA), 41-0, in a league test.
