Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 70-19 in a league battle.

With the win, Prospect advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Knights host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to play the Mustangs in a Mid-Suburban - East battle on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Rolling Meadows won 59-27 in their recent league battle against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)

The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Elk Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East match on Friday, October 10. Wheeling will confront a Grenadiers squad coming off a 54-14 league loss to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 1-5.
