Louisiana High School Football - Riverside Academy tops Vermilion Catholic

The Riverside Academy Rebels football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Vermilion Catholic Eagles to 19 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a 1A District 10 test on Friday, October 10. Riverside Academy will meet a Saints squad coming off a 28-12 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Saints record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Vermilion Catholic drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA) to meet the in a 1A District 6 test on Friday, October 17. The come into the test with a record of 5-0.
