Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD), 48-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Sioux Falls Christian improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD) to play the Seahawks in a non-league match on Friday, October 10. The Seahawks come into the match with a record of 2-4. Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan lost 35-18 in their recent league match against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD)

Coming up next, the Tanagers meet the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a Dakota 12 match, on Friday, October 10. Vermillion will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 33-7 league loss to Madison (Madison, SD).
