Utah High School Football - Timpview thwarted by Springville

Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), 28-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Springville advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Dons in a 5A Region 7 match on Thursday, October 9. The Dons come into the match with a record of 3-5. Spanish Fork won 20-14 in their recent league match against Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT)

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds meet the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 5A Region 7 match, on Thursday, October 9. Timpview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 50-7 league loss to Orem (Orem, UT).
