The Tillamook Cheesemakers overwhelmed the visiting St. Helens Lions football squad by a margin of 54-7 in Friday's league test.
The Cheesemakers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Astoria for a 4A Special District 1 test on Friday, October 10. Tillamook will meet a Fishermen squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, OR). The Fishermen record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, St. Helens drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Scappoose (Scappoose, OR) to meet the Indians in a 4A Special District 1 test on Friday, October 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Scappoose won 35-21 in their recent league challenge against Seaside (Seaside, OR)
