South Carolina High School Football - Sumter tops West Florence

The Sumter Gamecocks football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting West Florence Knights to 7 in the Gamecocks league triumph on Friday.

The Gamecocks now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blythewood for a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 17.

With the defeat, West Florence drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC) to meet the Bengals in a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 10. The Bengals come into the test with a record of 3-4. Blythewood lost 42-38 in their recent league test against Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC)
