In Friday's league match, the host Monarch Coyotes flag football squad scored a decisive 52-0 triumph over the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies.

The Coyotes (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Regis Groff (Denver, CO). The Fusion come into the 4A City battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Regis Groff was ripped by Arvada West (Arvada, CO), 43-7, in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Denver West for a 4A City battle on Tuesday, October 7. Bruce Randolph will play a Cowboys team coming off a 33-6 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-6.
